Laure Levy's a broadcast camera assistant/operator.
In her own filmmaking, she makes people-centered documentaries. Psychology gave her great training in listening and drawing people out and letting them tell their own stories.
Her 'My Grandmother's Sitting Room' (2015) is a personal journey to find the grandmother she never knew who was lost in the holocaust. Shot in Germany and Holland, it was a Nightpiece selection for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2016) and featured in the Amsterdam Lift Off Festival (2016).
Closer to home the observational film 'Beetlemania' goes behind the scenes of London's Natural History Museum following the work of the head of the beetles collection.
